Anne Roiphe is a noted feminist and the author of many books, including:

• 1185 Park Avenue: A Memoir (1999)
• Lovingkindness (1997)
• Fruitful: A Real Mother in the Real World (1996)
• Up the Sandbox! (1970)

She has written movingly and insightfully about her own divorce in several of her books, and in an essay entitled "A Tale of Two Divorces" included in "Women on Divorce: A Bedside Companion," edited by Penny Kaganoff and Susan Spano.

She also writes a regular column for the New York Observer.
