Release Notes for Version 6.07, released June 9,
2004
The main change in this release is the name change, from Family Law Software Software to
Family Law Software Planner.
Other small enhancements and corrections:
1. Residences. We have added a second line on the top "Residences" screen. This line adds entries for the year the home will be sold, and also the sale price. We automatically calculate the sale price, based on the current price, the rate of growth of the value, and the date of sale. Now, we display that price, so you can see what it is.
2. Residence purchase. We now default the home to have been purchased 5 years ago, if no marriage date has been entered. For all calculations, any purchase date of 5 years ago or earlier is all the same.
3. Alimony Buyout. The alimony buyout calculator worked only if the alimony amount had first been entered in the planner. Now that is not required; you may go immediately to the alimony buyout calculator.
4. The "Start" tab has been renamed the "Home" tab, so it is not confused with the Windows "Start" button.
5. The "Help" topic on the "Home" tab now links you to our "Frequently Asked Questions" on the web.
6. The "Ordering Software" topic on the "Home" tab now shows when your KeyCode expires and provides support for renewing your license.
7. Some graphs were printing with screen-only text such as, "Click here to view…" They now print without that text.
