Release Notes for Version 10.09,
released Dec 11, 2008 PDF. You may now generate PDF
files of the current screen by clicking a new "PDF" button to the right
of the Print button at the top of the screen. You may also e-mail the
PDF file to anyone from within the software, simply by clicking on the
button and entering the e-mail address.
Sending files. You may now send files to other professionals, to
us, or to yourself, using e-mail. (Previously, you could only send those
files through our server, and this did not work for everybody due to
firewall issues.)
What If Analysis. If we are showing only the current year in
What-if Analysis, then we show only the current year’s filing status.
Defined Benefit Pensions. The values of pensions entered as an
outside appraisal now decline smoothly after retirement to age 85.
Previously, they had dropped to zero after retirement.
Budget Report. In the case of a real estate property that has not
yet been purchased, but that is being purchased in the current year, if
the Budget Report is being displayed on a monthly basis, the Budget
Report for the current year will now show the monthly payment for that
property.
Florida Affidavit. Self-employment tax is now carried
automatically to the Florida Affidavit. Also, we have improved the
capability to optionally allow you to enter taxes manually on the
Florida Affidavit.
Illinois Child Support. We were carrying voluntary IRA
contributions to the line for mandatory contributions. We are no longer
doing that.
New York Net Worth Statement. We were incorrectly carrying some
lines from the New York Net Worth Statement into the tax calculation.
That has been fixed.
Affidavit export. We now are able to export the generic financial
affidavit into an Excel spreadsheet format. (Actually, it is a comma
separated values format – a "CSV" file -- which may be opened in Excel.)
You may use this to create Excel macros that convert this file into an
affidavit in your state. This is a link on the Planner tab > Financial
Affidavit screen.
