I Feel Like I'm In Danger In The Home
If you feel as if you are in danger, and your spouse won't leave the home, then leave immediately.
Hire a lawyer immediately, and ask the court for a "protective order." This
puts the court on notice that you left only because you felt threatened.
This will tend to counter any tendency a judge may feel to award the home to the person
who lives there during the separation.
