If I Move Out, To What Kind Of Place Should I Go?
Men who move out are advised to stay near the family home. Living
near the family home looks good if you are arguing for custody, or at
least for extensive visitation.
Also, though it may be tempting to go to as low-rent a place as you
can, to help the family economize, men are advised not to do this.
This is because a low rent may set the court's expectations at a low-rent
number for your needs, which might mean that the alimony or child support
would be higher.
